The Apple iPhone has many wonderful features but to get the most from this new mobile device you need to know how to use these features correctly. Making a call from the Apple iPhone is easier than ever. It’s simple to construct a bookmark list from your most frequently called numbers and you can even merge numbers together for conference calls. You can access your contacts a new way by holding your finger on the list and sliding it up or down. This will provide you with a fast but controlled way of scrolling through your contacts.
When you are ready to listen to your voice messages you can scroll to the ones you want hear and skip the rest. The touch-screen gives you the freedom to pick the order of importance to you, instead of having to go by the actual order of the call. You can do the same with your email too.
Now that the basics for using the calling feature have been covered lets move on to the iPod feature of this phone. The built-in iPod has many features of its own. The default buttons are located at the bottom of the iPhone which include the songs, playlist, videos and so forth. By tapping on the “More” icon then the Edit button (in the upper left corner) you will be able to change the order of the first four buttons to the options you want first. To make the change simply tap and hold the icon while dragging it over the one you are replacing. Tap “Done” and you have successfully switched icons.
You can also make the playback speed go faster or slower in the same way you would do on a regular iPod. Simply tap Settings, the Audiobook Speed entry then choose between Normal, Faster or Slower speeds by tapping the one you want. You can also easily delete entries you don’t want anymore by tapping the “Delete” button.

It also features an advanced Safari browser that will enhance your viewing of webpages with a built-in zoom button. One special feature the iPhone offers is the YouTube player that can be launched from the home screen of your device with a simple tap. With this feature you have the ability to view satellite images, maps and receive directions and traffic information.
